NO!
Your Limits

Have you ever been in a class and felt obliged to have to perform a pose you don’t feel comfortable with but still find yourself bending and pretzeling in ways that your body tells you no? Knowing your limits is one of the most crucial parts of our practice to ensure safe movement, growth and awareness within our own bodies.

Open to all levels

Includes;

4hr workshop with a 30 minute break

Range of motion

Most of us use only 70% of our range accessible to our individual bodies which means there’s a whole other 30% to play with. Learn what range is accessible to you and your individual body. Focused on keys areas to find range while becoming aware of where we pull range from to compensate. This way of moving strengthens and stabilises joint, muscles and body awareness.

Safe Movement & terminology

We will break down specific movements and take a deeper look at where we are aiming to move from, not only to get the most out of each posture but to ensure we are moving safely. Terms like ‘back bend’ tell us only 2 things, to bend backwards. This leaves us with little information of what exactly our bodies are meant to do to feel safe, confident and to land strong and stabilised, assisting smooth entry and exits.

Prop assist

Props are the new cool. Props have been designed not for beginner level but for everyone who is wanting to advance even beyond expert. A prop isn’t something you use because you can’t do something, props are used because you can do something. They allow support in a way that can encourage confidence, movement exploration and movement enhancement
