SPINAL HEALTH LAB - No Quick Fix

A series of workshops that work off of Shoshin. The Zen Japaneses Buddhist word for the beginners mind. There is a concept in Zen Buddhism known as shoshin, which means “beginner's mind.” Shoshin refers to the idea of letting go of your preconceptions and having an attitude of openness when studying a subject. When you are a true beginner, your mind is empty and open. Shoshin refers to adopting a mindset of humility and curiosity when approaching a subject — even if one is already at an advanced level.

‘No one has truly mastered movement until it can be used in a multitude of ways'.

Our spines are complexed and vital yet we neglect it's ability and intelligence to keep us up right, walking and moving. Everything works off the spine so while we focus on keeping it healthy we in turn focus on keeping the rest of the body moving with ease and pain free.

Sedentary lives are becoming more common with overworked societies it's no wonder we are experiencing more back issues and pains. With the little time we can feel we have to focus on our wellbeing it is important that the information shared is digestible and easy to implement. This 3 hour workshop will help you to understand your spine and how to keep it healthy. As everything works off the spine it is important to make this our first port of call when it comes to knowing our physical body. This workshop will equip you with all the tools and knowledge you need, to know how to move with the spine, how to strengthen the spine and how to bend with ease. â€‹
